Content Methodology
This page describes how Busuk researches, writes, and reviews content. Last updated 2026-05-07.
Data sources
- Router admin data: manufacturer support documentation (D-Link, Linksys, TP-Link, ASUS, Netgear, etc.) and physical-device verification on common models.
- ISP performance: public datasets (M-Lab NDT7, OOKLA Speedtest Global Index), ISP-published technical specifications, and direct customer documentation.
- WiFi guides: direct experience using the network plus airline/airport official documentation.
- APN settings: mobile carrier official APN documentation, MCC/MNC values from the GSMA registry.
Review process
Every page is initially drafted from primary-source research. A second pass verifies cited facts against at least two independent sources. Pages are reviewed for currency at minimum every 12 months; ISP-specific pages are reviewed every 6 months because plans and pricing change frequently.
Speed testing
Where we publish speed measurements, we use the NDT7 protocol (M-Lab) — an open, reproducible test methodology. Results are timestamped and source-attributed.
